Since Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church first began, it has always been blessed with outstanding cooks from the past and present.  Sunday Dinners at GMBC have been a catalyst to the dining room for Christians to dine together who truly love one another.

We began our Sage Culinary Ministry under the leadership of Rev. Dr. John E. Duckworth, Pastor, on April 15, 2003. With much love and appreciation we have to announce that our 1st Leader of the Culinary Ministry for over 12 years, Ella Peters has stepped down to pursue other avenues of her life.  We know that when God closes one door, he will always open other for the good.  We are pleased to announce that Hazel Weaver has stepped up to the plate to continue to guide the culinary staff to be able to continue to be available to meet the needs of the church whenever possible.

Our goal for 2016 is to teach the youth the art of cooking for large groups.  Please accept this invitation to join our ministry.

We say thank you to all who helped us out along the way.  A special thank you to Mae Bates, Laura Maine, and honorary member, Donna Scott.
