A “Corporate body” of believers “Intercessors” praying with one accord…
The earnest (heartfelt continued prayer of a righteous man make tremendous power available in its workings) AV version
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed for His disciples and for those who would come unto Him. He prayed that we might be one. Because Jesus prayed this prayer to the Father in heaven, it most certainly will come to pass, although now, we are divided in our beliefs.
Jesus is now seated on the right hand of the Father in heaven where He is still interceding for us.
Because we, as a “Corporate body” of believing Intercessors, praying in one accord: age or gender becomes no barrier.
Because we pray as “Intercessors”:
- Others can be strong
- We can be useful to each other
- Our land shall be safe, secure and enriched, protected against terrorism
As “Intercessors” we shall pray for the Gethsemane church family, their families and acquaintances.
We shall pray for…Our Pastor, his family and loved ones.
We shall pray for…Mrs. Duckworth, her family and loved ones.
We shall remember the sick, convalescents’ and distressed each week
We shall remember to pray for our President that he, guided by the Holy Spirit, will always make quality decisions; knowing that – no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and that every tongue that riseth up in judgment against him, he shall prove to be wrong. We shall pray for his staff and other governmental officials.
We shall pray for a passion for lost-souls.
We shall remember to pray for the civic and governmental agencies of Inkster, Westland, and the outer communities.
We shall not forget to pray for the local pastors and their “church family”
We shall pray as the Holy Spirit directs
