Mission:

Engage young adults in ministry work while addressing the specific ministry needs for those members through Christian Education, Information, and Fellowship.

Purpose:

Enhance the worship and ministry experience of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church for those members within the age demographic of 18+ years.

Stewardship:

  • Restructure and reestablish ministry with goals aligned with GMBC holistic approach
  • Support Ministries of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church
  • Instituted monthly meeting with serviced agendas on the second Tuesday of each month at 7PM
  • Engage in fellowship outings that supports the Young Adult Ministry
  1. Attended Young Adult Forum and Social Evening presented by Peace Baptist Church
  2. Set Up fellowship outings –
  1. Sunday Dinner Fellowship at Champs in Livonia, MI
  2. Bowling Fellowship Outing at Lucky Strike in Novi, MI
  3. A Night of Worship with William McDowell at Second Ebenezer Church in Detroit, MI
